Monthly Teams attendance report for a recurring meeting
Teams creates a separate attendance report for each instance of a recurring meeting, not one per month. A reply to a user without admin access on Microsoft Q&A says there is no direct way to generate a monthly report automatically.
Build a monthly report by hand
- Download the CSV of every session in the month from the Attendance tab of the meeting chat (how).
- Combine the files in one workbook with a column for the session date.
- Match people by e-mail address where you have it, then add up their minutes per month. Do not add overlapping join and leave times twice.
- Decide what counts as attended (for example, a minimum number of minutes) and apply it the same way to every session.
Check your admin settings first
If your admin chose Only show who attended, reports exclude join times, leave times and duration, so there is nothing to add up (Attendee information).
Get it every month without the work
Series Attendance Roster archives each session's report and builds the monthly numbers for you: person × session minutes, your completion rule applied, a Monthly sheet in the Excel file, and a monthly e-mail with download links. See pricing for which plan includes exports and the monthly e-mail.
